Solar, a mixed-use building, creates a dialogue between interior and exterior through the shifting ratio of photovoltaic panels to glazing. The percentage of photovoltaic panels is increased in response to the local lighting conditions to maximize their productivity and reduce the amount of glazing on areas with more hours of direct sunlight.  The maximum glazing is exposed around the commercial and community programs increasing visibility and connection to the urban fabric.
